“Ngudang” is to speak to a child to praise him, to pray for him and to wish for his better future.
It is a Javanese word, which has a deep meaning, and so far has no equivalence in Indonesian, or even in English.
Using the great theme “Ngudang”, this time Kendra Gallery invites Iwan Effendi and Papermoon Puppet Theatre. Both artists have the same tendency in their creativity; they start from narration to tell the public, to perform their visual arts, with Agung Kurniawan as curator.
