A MIX OF LIVE MODERN MUSIC AT LEGIAN BEACH FESTIVAL 2012
Now in it's 6th year, the Legian Beach Festival (5-8 July 2012, Legian Beach between Jalan Melasti & Jalan Padma) will be hosting some great bands playing live on the stage every evening (from 6pm till closing) during the four days of the Festival. The current line-up with music to please everyone is as follows: Ronaldgang – Blues Rock, regulars at Mannekepis (Fridays), Centerstage - Hard Rock Hotel, Bali (Sundays) and other venues in Bali and Indonesia.Caroline Band - Indie (Bali).
Enerudji & Underground Jazz Movement (Bali).
Crazy Ed - Blues Alternative acoustic (Jakarta) - Composer, Singer and Musician.
Khatulistiwa - Ethnic Fusion (Bali) regulars at JP's Warung, Dhyanapura Seminyak - Bali and others venues in Bali.
Moexin N De Tyos - Rock Ethnic (Makassar), SE Sulawesi.
The Bisst – Australian Rock fused with Batak music (Medan & Bali), regulars at Uncle Norm's, Kuta and others venues around Kuta - BaliOnik Wattimena, Festival Committee Member, performer (Ronaldgang band leader) and Co-ordinator of the Festival's modern live music said "The Legian Beach Festival gets better every year and is a great way to reach out to a wider audience. Many people know the bands which are playing but there are even more people who don't yet know them and who would like to. At the Festival they can listen to them for free!"Other events include: Free daily surfing lessons from Up2You, beach volleyball, watersports, painting competition, drawing competition, fashion show, Miss Legian Beach Festival 2012 competition, daily barong and Balinese dance performances, music and regional dance from several Indonesian regions, international Food Festival, fun bike ride, prizes galore, stalls selling clothes, jewellery, handcrafts and more besides. The Legian Beach Festival 2012 runs daily from 10am-10pm with the grand opening ceremony on Thursday, 5th July at 5pm. Entry to Legian Beach Festival is free to all.
