Edit Tips

  • You may want to use a simple, light gel on the hair to smooth fine hairs or flyaways. Bobby pins also work well.
  • Braid close to the head, for a neat, tight braid; don't hold the sections far away while braiding.
  • If your hands get tired while braiding you can bend over to relax them.
  • It also looks cute if you part your hair down the middle, separate it into two even sections and do dutch braid pigtails.

Edit Warnings

  • Do not brush the hair when it is wet, as doing so causes damage. Use a wide-toothed comb instead. This is a much better alternative and still works well. You could also dry your hair first.
