Come down for a day of fun in the Canggu sun on Sunday August 12th at
Echo Beach where the CSC (Canggu Surf Community) is holding their 5th
annual invitational surf contest and music beach day. Five surf clubs
are invited from Brawa to Tabanan and they will be competing in two
divisions: Under 21 and Under 16. There is also an Open division for
CSC surfers only.
Besides surfing there will be eight live bands including the
well-known rockers Devil Dice and several DJ sets by Electrofux and
other local DJs. The surfing event is for the five surf clubs only but
the music and fun beach day is for everybody.
The surfing starts at 7am and the contest area will be at the left in
front of Echo Beach and also at the nearby Sandbar, two of Bali’s
favorite high-performance waves. Prizes for this year’s finalists are
surfboards donated by the biggest names in surfing including: Bruce
Irons, Rob Machado and Julian Wilson to name a few. Division winners
will all receive a brand new surfboard from the event sponsors.
